On June 23, sponsored by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan Province, organized by Hainan Province MICE Association, and co-organized by the MICE Committee of China Association of Travel Services (CATS), the 2021 China MICE Industry Summit and Hainan MICE Tourism Promotion Activities themed "Meeting at Hainan Free Trade Port" were held on Ocean Flower Island, where participants visited high-class conference and exhibition venues, experienced a variety of MICE products, and knew better about the tourism culture and routes of western Hainan.

The Hainan Western Tourism Resources Promotion Meeting was held in the International Ballroom of Ocean Flower Island International Convention & Exhibition Center, and was attended by leaders from the tourism, culture, radio, television and sports bureaus of eight cities and counties in Hainan Western Tourism Alliance as well as those from the MICE Committee of CATS, Hainan Province MICE Association, and Evergrande Fairyland Convention and Exhibition Group.

At the promotion meeting, Ren Jiangping, deputy director of the Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau of Danzhou City, introduced the rich natural resources, unique ethnic customs, and tropical urban landscape of western Hainan.

Kang Bing, general manager of Evergrande Fairyland Convention and Exhibition Group，thanked the organizer for bringing quality buyers to Ocean Flower Island and creating an opportunity for in-depth bilateral exchanges.

Liu Yifan, general manager of the International Marketing Center of Evergrande Fairyland Convention and Exhibition Group, highlighted the Ocean Flower Island International Convention & Exhibition Center, which consists of six characteristic conference halls, including the Assembly Hall with a capacity of nearly 4,300 people, the International Ballroom that features a no-pillar design and covers an area of 2,500 m2, and the International Round-Table Hall offering nearly 1,300 seats. Ocean Flower Island also features several characteristic outdoor venues with an area ranging from 5,000 m2 to 3,5000 m2. In addition, traffic transfer to Ocean Flower Island is increasingly improving. In May this year, a visitor center was set up in Haikou Meilan International Airport, offering direct buses shuttling between the airport and the island for more than 10 round-trips per day.

On that day, the delegation also visited the Observation Tower, where they were presented with Ocean Flower Island's overall planning. They also inspected the International Exhibition Center, International Convention Center, Culinary Street, Commercial Street, Fairyland, Fairyland Water Kingdom, Fairyland Ocean Park, and Villa Hotel. The delegation was deeply impressed by Ocean Flower Island's unique MICE resources.

As an important MICE complex in the west of Hainan Free Trade Port, Ocean Flower Island will continue to introduce branded conference events to settle in the island and Hainan with first-class hardware facilities and high-level services, facilitating the development of MICE in western Hainan and the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
