In August 2017, Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center (the “Center”) successfully joined International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) through a series of strict evaluations, surveys and investigations. The Center acquired a membership certificate issued by IAEE CEO & Chairman and served as IAEE's first and only member in Hainan. That means the Center as a preferable international conference destination had taken a new step of ramping up its international push.

Established in 1928 as the American National Association of Exposition Managers to represent the interests of tradeshow and exposition managers, IAEE is one of the leading associations for the global conference and exhibition industry. Headquartered in Dallas, the United States of America, today IAEE represents over 7,000 individuals and 1,400 organizations who have hosted over 20,000 conferences and exhibitions around the world.

Recently IAEE Vice President Ms. Marsha Flanagan delivered her congratulation to Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center for its entry of IAEE. She stated this membership demonstrated that the Center with ideal environment and superb conditions was completely qualified for holding international events. IAEE held ample confidence in the Center’s prospect.

Delegates of Evergrande Tourism Group stated that Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center had drawn attention and recognition for its unique architectural shape of 12 blooming peonies, integrated facilities, innovative technologies, preferable ecological environment and all-round services. As the most expected new venue in China's convention exhibition industry, after joining International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA) and Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) in 2016, and continuously winning several industrial awards of China, the Center successfully joined the IAEE, which symbolized the Center’s qualification for international conferences. This entry marked an important step of the center to go global. Additionally, IAEE offers an international platform for the Center and Hainan to showcase their advantages and strengths. The Center will devote itself to integrate industrial resources, introduce new cooperation and solutions, explore the international market, improve detailed services for every event, and get all-round preparation for the Center’s grand opening in 2018, thus boosting the construction development of Hainan's high-end conference industrial economy.
