China Incentives Business Travel & Meetings Expo (Beijing) 2017 (CIBTM 2017) was held in Beijing during 23-24 August 2017. Currently served as the first and only member of International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) in Hainan, Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center (the “Center”) participated and exhibited at CIBTM 2017 along with Hainan Tourism Development Commission and Hainan Province MICE Association. Through this exhibition, the Center achieved ideal results in marketing promotion, customer development, seeking opportunities of cooperation with international conference organizers.

At the scene of the CIBTM 2017, the booth of Hainan Tourism highlighted the abundant MICE resources in Hainan, became one of the eye-catching spots at the expo. As one of the emerging high-end MICE resources in Hainan, the Center showcased its advantages and strengths: The 108 fully equipped multi-functional conference halls offer a complete venue solution for international conferences, banquets, workshops, performances, ceremonies, contests, product launchings, company events and other MICE activities. Among the venues, the 3-storey grand conference hall can host 5,500 guests; the international round-table conference hall can host up to 1,500 guests, and the Grand Ballroom can accommodate 2,000 persons in a single banquet. Moreover, the Center’s unique architectural shape of 12 blooming peonies, flexible space and integrated facilities and all-round event services drew attention and consultation of many buyers and media at both home and abroad.

Additionally, as the largest flower-shaped man-made island on the Earth, Ocean Flower Island integrates multiple MICE resources and 28 types of business, including convention and exhibition, catering and accommodations, cultures and arts, leisure and shopping, site visiting and pre-post-conference tours, etc. There are equipped with more than 10,000 beds to guarantee the diversified demands of large-scale conferences. On the keynote speech session--“Trends & Forecast of Global MICE Industry”, IAEE Vice President Ms. Marsha Flanagan delivered her congratulation to Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center for its entry of IAEE. She stated this membership demonstrated that the Center with ideal environment and superb conditions was completely qualified for holding international conference. IAEE held ample confidence in the Center’s prospect.
