As Ocean Flower Island has been constructed in full swing, the Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center has also been under well-pleasing progress, with the main structures of multiple buildings completed, the "Oriental Peony" and the "Ocean Center" international convention and exhibition centers being gradually emerged at sight. At the same time, the opening of the Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center is being prepared at full stretch.

On June 26, the center welcomed Mr. Chen Fangxu, Chairman of HIMICE Communication Group and President of Hainan MICE. Association, Mr. Yang Dongwen, Secretary-General of Hainan MICE Association, Mr. Li Bin, General Manager of China Travel International Sanya Co., Ltd., Ms. Shen Yan, General Manager of Hainan Kangtai MICE Management Center Co., Ltd., and Mr. Wang Ruyuan, General Manager of Haikou Minjian Business Conferences Services Co., Ltd.

On the day of their visit on the island, the guests toured the display center, the Sightseeing Tower, the International Convention & Exhibition Center, the EuroCastle Hotel, Ocean Flower Island with more than 5000 guest rooms, and Hilton Hainan Ocean Flower Island, which has 408 deluxe rooms. The magnificent and creative architectural design of the project was highly praised by the guests. They exuded confidence on the project, and said it was beyond their expectations. Also, they hoped that the Ocean Flower Island project would be launched early as the landmark of MICE in Hainan.

After the visit to the island, the delegates from Danzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, all the guests from MICE Tourism industry and the representatives from the center attended a fruitful "Seminar on Preparations for Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center" at Yanpu Guest House in the afternoon.

The representatives of Ocean Flower Island Convention & Exhibition Center welcomed the guests to attend the seminar, expressed thanks to Danzhou Government's long term support for the projects on the island and introduced the overall progress of the preparatory work for the whole project as well as the innovative concept, overall planning, operation philosophy and teams of the center to the guests. The guests spoke highly of both the intangible and tangible facilities of the island as "First-rate Brand, "First-rate Teams" and "First-rate Projects". On behalf of the leading enterprises in Hainan's convention & exhibition industry, the guests also shared their own opinions about the development of the MICE industry in Danzhou, earnestly gave advice on the products, services and operations of the center, and suggested Danzhou Government use Ocean Flower Island as the city's "name card", provide substantial support in the publicity, promotion and financial policy to make the center a pearl of the MICE industry in western Hainan.

The delegates of Danzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce said the opinions and suggestions put forward by the local MICE enterprises at the seminar would be gathered and submitted to the leaders of the relevant government departments, and they looked forward to closer coordination with Ocean Flower Island project team and related sectors in MICE tourism in order to jointly promote the development of the tourism and exhibition industry in Danzhou.
